What boonvid does
You upload a script and a voiceover. boonvid builds a finished video from them: footage, photos, maps, titles, subtitles, music, cut to your words. You get the video as a file you can download, together with available source and licence information. boonvid selects and processes media to produce the file; it does not upload it to your social-media channels or decide whether you should publish it.
Who may use boonvid
- You must be at least 18 years old, or of full age in your country of residence if that is higher.
- If you use boonvid for a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company to these terms.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a code we send you, or with your Google account. When you create your account, with your email address or with Google, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (see “Who may use boonvid”); without this confirmation no account is created. If your account was created before we asked, you confirm it once before your next order. If you buy without an account, you confirm it before the payment form opens. One account per person or company. You are responsible for what is done with your account and for keeping your email access safe. You can delete your account yourself at any time under Account → Delete account (you confirm by typing DELETE), or ask us by email to hello@boonvid.com.
What you upload
- You must have the rights to the script and the voiceover you upload, and to any material you ask us to include. You keep all rights to them.
- You allow us to use your uploads only to build, check and deliver your video and to let you download it.
- We do not use your scripts, voiceovers or videos to train AI models.
- How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. If you use boonvid for your business and your uploads contain personal data of other people, we process that data on your behalf under our Data Processing Agreement; for business customers it forms part of these terms.
Music you upload
Only upload music you have the necessary rights to use in your video, including commercial use where applicable. You are responsible for permissions and licence fees. boonvid does not obtain licences for customer-uploaded music and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for claims arising from your failure to obtain those rights.
This includes rights in both the musical composition and the sound recording, and permission to combine them with video and publish the result on your intended platforms. You authorise us to process the uploaded music solely to provide the service. Uploading music to boonvid does not grant you any additional rights in that music. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Rules for content
- Before an order is accepted, the script is checked automatically against the following content rules. This is not a fact-check of your statements. Current politics and reporting on ongoing wars are allowed. Reporting is allowed: documentaries and factual accounts of crimes, fraud, accidents, wars, terrorist groups or sexuality in art and culture do not break these rules; what is excluded is doing it, such as instructions, calls to action, threats, advertising or offers to sell. Concrete fraudulent instructions that deceive voters about voting dates, places or eligibility remain excluded as unlawful content; dangerous self-harm instructions remain excluded even when described as a cure. Never accepted: sexual content, incitement to violence, terrorism or extremism, graphic violence, hate against protected groups, harassment or doxxing of named people, instructions for self-harm, defamation or deepfakes of real people, fraud, sale of illegal goods, piracy. Depending on the context we may also refuse: promotion of gambling, alcohol, tobacco, vaping or cannabis, medical, financial or legal advice with promises of results, and religion that denigrates others. We refuse only for a clear breach, evidenced by verbatim sentences from the script. You see the reason and can appeal right away: an automatic second review decides within a few minutes; if the refusal stands, a person reviews the case.
- No unlawful, defamatory, insulting, hateful or pornographic content, and no content that infringes someone's rights.
- No deepfakes and no other synthetic depictions of real people without their express consent.
- Footage and photos from the libraries can show recognisable people. Your script decides the context in which they appear. Do not use them in a way that demeans or insults these people or places them in a context they would object to. This rule comes from the licence terms of the libraries.
- No content aimed at children in a way that requires special protection.
- We may refuse or remove orders that break these rules and close the account.
Your content and third-party claims
You represent that you hold the rights and permissions required for your script, uploads and specifically requested material, including our processing of them to provide the service. You are responsible for your instructions, statements, and your intended use of the output. Do not ask us to infringe third-party rights.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you indemnify Firehorse Media LLC against justified third-party claims and reasonable, necessary defence costs caused by your culpable breach of these obligations, your unlawful use of an output, or your violation of applicable third-party licence conditions. This indemnity does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by our own acts, omissions or breach of duty. We will notify you promptly and give you a reasonable opportunity to participate in the defence. Neither party may agree a settlement imposing an admission, payment or other obligation on the other without that party’s consent, which must not be unreasonably withheld. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
The finished video
- You may use the finished video for any lawful purpose, including commercially, on any platform, within the licences of the material it contains.
- Media may come from stock libraries, archives, public websites and customer uploads. Rights and restrictions differ by item; some items may have incomplete or unverified rights information. Customer-uploaded music is governed by the section “Music you upload” above. Available source and licence information accompanies the video. Inclusion in a video or a source list is not proof of permission.
- We cannot guarantee that platforms (for example YouTube Content ID) will not still report claims against your video. If that happens, write to us; we help you identify the available source and licence information. We do not promise removal of a claim, platform acceptance, monetization or revenue.
- You decide whether, where and how to use or publish your video. A download, a completed production check or a platform example is not legal clearance or a recommendation to publish without review. This allocation does not eliminate our responsibility for our own conduct.
- You can download the finished video for 30 days after it is ready; after that the download is withdrawn, so please save your video in time. Your uploads and all files of the order are deleted automatically 90 days after delivery (or 90 days after the order was created, if it was never delivered). On request by email we delete them earlier.
Third-party media and review before use
For practical guidance and official U.S. legal references, see Media rights and legal information. This explanatory guidance does not change the contract applicable to an existing order.
- No blanket rights warranty. Except for rights expressly granted in an applicable licence or specific contractual commitment, we do not represent that every output or incorporated item is cleared for every intended use, free of third-party rights, or suitable for unrestricted commercial use.
- Third-party rights remain. Outputs may contain third-party photos, footage, artwork, trademarks, identifiable people or other protected material. Payment for production does not buy ownership of those underlying rights. We grant no rights that we do not hold.
- Review is required. Before using, sharing or publishing an output, review the video and available source information for your intended purpose, audience, territory and platform. Resolve missing permissions or replace the affected material before use. Do not treat an absent licence, missing author, short clip, animation or attribution as permission.
- Permissions and credits. Obtain any permissions required for your intended use that are not already covered, and comply with attribution, licence links, change notices, editorial-only and other applicable restrictions. Preserve required credits. We do not provide a legal opinion that a use qualifies as fair use.
- Your choices; our obligations. You are responsible for your uploads, instructions and use of the output. Automated selection and production checks can make mistakes. These provisions do not excuse our own unlawful conduct, breach of an express commitment or liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
- No effect on outsiders. These terms allocate responsibilities between you and Firehorse Media LLC. They do not bind third-party rights holders, grant permission on their behalf, or prevent claims against either party.
How boonvid uses AI
- boonvid plans and cuts your video with the help of AI: it chooses and places footage and checks the result.
- boonvid does not create synthetic people and does not generate AI voices.
- Every finished video file carries a machine-readable note in its metadata: “Created with boonvid - AI-assisted editing (footage selection, placement and checks)”.
- Videos undergo automated production checks before delivery, including picture-to-text checks and checks of available media metadata. These are not comprehensive legal clearance or a guarantee of accuracy or non-infringement. If a check fails, the video is rebuilt; if it cannot be delivered, the minutes are not charged.
Plans and prices
Prices are in US dollars. You pay in the currency shown in the order summary and in the payment form; that is the currency charged. They are net prices: the VAT or sales tax of your country is added on top and shown to you before you pay (see “Taxes”). A “minute” is a minute of finished video, measured from the length of your voiceover.
| Plan | Minutes | Price (net) |
|---|---|---|
| Flex 15 | 15 minutes, one-time | $22 |
| Flex 30 | 30 minutes, one-time | $45 |
| Flex 60 | 60 minutes, one-time | $90 |
| Flex 100 | 100 minutes, one-time | $150 |
| Creator | 300 minutes per month | $299 per month, or $2,868 per year in 12 monthly payments of $239 |
| Max | 1,000 minutes per month | $699 per month, or $6,708 per year in 12 monthly payments of $559 |
- Minutes are valid for 30 days from the payment that booked them. Unused minutes expire; they are not paid out.
- Monthly plans renew automatically each month until you cancel; cancel at any time, the plan runs to the end of the paid month.
- Annual plans are a 12-month commitment billed monthly ($239 for Creator, $559 for Max). The commitment ends after the 12th payment and then continues month to month until you cancel. Cancelling earlier does not end the commitment: the remaining monthly payments of the 12 stay due.
- Free first video: one trial per account, up to two minutes, with a watermark. No card required.
- Early-access offer: 20 % off the first monthly payment of Creator or Max, once per email address, with the personal code sent on launch day. Not for annual plans or Flex, not combinable with other offers, valid until October 27, 2026.
- Prices may change for the future; a running paid period keeps its price.
How the contract is made
- On the plans page you choose a plan or a minute package. A summary shows the price, the billing period and the conditions.
- Before the payment form opens, you confirm the two statements on the immediate start of the service (see “Right of withdrawal for consumers”). Then the payment form of Whop opens. Until you press the payment button you can correct every entry there, or close the window and start again.
- By pressing the payment button you make a binding offer; the contract is concluded when the payment has been accepted. We confirm your two statements by email as soon as you have ticked them, with the plan and links to these terms and the withdrawal instructions; Whop sends you a receipt for the payment.
- We do not keep an individual copy of the contract text for you. These terms stay available on this page; the version you accepted is recorded with your confirmation. You can print this page or save it as a PDF.
- The free first video needs no payment: that contract is concluded when you submit the order.
Payment
Payments are processed by Whop, Inc. Whop's terms apply to the payment.
Taxes
- Our prices are net. For sales to customers in the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union, Whop, Inc. is the merchant of record for the tax: it calculates the VAT or sales tax of your country, adds it to the price, collects it with the payment and pays it to the tax authorities. Whop’s receipt shows the tax.
- You see the total including tax in the payment form, before you pay. The amount in the payment form is the amount charged.
- The tax is calculated on each payment and rounded to the cent. Annual plans are paid in 12 monthly payments; the tax is added to each of them.
- Businesses with a valid VAT ID can enter it in the payment form. No VAT is then charged (reverse charge); the business accounts for it itself.
- For customers outside these regions, no tax is added to our prices.
Right of withdrawal for consumers
- If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The full instructions and a model withdrawal form are on the page Right of withdrawal.
- boonvid delivers a digital service right away. That is why, before the payment form opens, we ask you to expressly request that we start the service and make your minutes available before the withdrawal period ends, and to confirm that you know you lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been performed in full, and that if you withdraw earlier you pay a proportionate amount for the minutes you have already used. We record your statements with the time and the version of these terms and confirm them to you by email.
- If you withdraw, the unused part of your payment is refunded. Minutes you have already used are charged proportionally.
Refunds
- Outside the right of withdrawal, minutes that have been used are not refunded.
- Cancelling a video. While a video is being created, you can cancel it in your account. All progress on it is lost, and the minutes or credit for that video are not refunded, not even in part. This also applies to the free trial video: once cancelled, the trial counts as used.
- Minutes that could not be delivered because of a failure on our side are returned to your balance with their original validity. If that has already run out, write to us and we credit them again.
Cancellation
- Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time for the next period. Monthly plans run to the end of the paid month; for annual plans the 12-month commitment described under “Plans and prices” applies.
- You can cancel on the page Cancel contracts here. It is linked in the footer of every page and works without signing in. Enter your name, the email address of your account and the contract, then press “Cancel now”. Unless you choose a date, we cancel at the earliest possible date. We show the confirmation on the page and send it to you by email, with its content, date and time.
- You can also cancel by email to hello@boonvid.com.
- The right of both sides to terminate for good cause remains unaffected.
Content reviews and appeals
A confirmed rejection for prohibited content counts as a strike. Technical retries of the same submission do not count again. Strikes do not expire automatically. After three active strikes, new orders are paused. You can appeal from your account; we review the decision and can clear an incorrect strike. A final suspension requires manual review. Remaining paid minutes may be forfeited following that decision, subject to mandatory consumer and refund rights. You may also appeal the final decision. Existing downloads remain available under their normal retention period.
Availability
We build videos as fast as we can. We do not guarantee a delivery time. If a video cannot be built, you get the minutes back. This does not apply to a video you cancel yourself (see Refunds).
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits or anticipated revenue. These exclusions do not override an express contractual commitment, mandatory service-quality obligations or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
For business customers acting in the course of their trade or profession, our aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees that customer paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except for the exclusions from limitation below.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, mandatory product liability, an express guarantee to the extent it requires liability, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights, including applicable refund and other remedies, remain unaffected. Where an exclusion or limitation is not permitted, it applies only to the extent the law allows. These contractual limits do not bind third-party rights holders.
Reporting rights infringements
Send rights concerns to hello@boonvid.com, including your contact details, the work or right concerned, the relevant URL or order identifier, and an explanation of your rights and the suspected infringement. You may report suspected infringement; a court judgment is not required. Please do not send passwords or private download credentials. We review reports and may restrict access or remove material as appropriate and as required by applicable law; we may suspend or terminate accounts for repeated infringement in appropriate circumstances.
For a formal US copyright notice, also include your physical or electronic signature, identification of the copyrighted work and the material to be located, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or law, and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner. Do not submit knowingly false claims. This reporting channel is not a representation that boonvid qualifies for a DMCA safe harbor.
Notice and takedown. When we receive a notice that identifies the material concerned and gives the information above, we remove the material or disable access to it without undue delay if the notice is justified, and we tell the customer concerned what was removed and why, unless the law or the circumstances of the case forbid it.
Counter-notice. If material of yours was removed and you believe this was a mistake or a misidentification, you can reply to the same address. Identify the material and where it was, explain why you believe it was removed by mistake, and give your name, address, email address and your physical or electronic signature. We forward your reply to the person who sent the notice and may restore the material, as provided by applicable law.
Repeat infringers. We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of customers who repeatedly infringe the rights of others, in particular after repeated justified notices about their uploads or orders. Remaining paid minutes may then be forfeited, subject to mandatory consumer and refund rights. Notices that turn out to be unjustified do not count.
Complaints
If something is wrong, write to hello@boonvid.com and we answer. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Changes to these terms
This version applies to new contracts accepted under it. It does not retroactively waive rights under earlier contracts. We may update these terms. You will see the new version before it applies to a new purchase; running subscriptions get 30 days' notice by email.
Language
These terms are provided in English. Earlier contracts remain subject to the language provisions of the version applicable to those contracts. Mandatory legal requirements remain unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and disputes are heard by the courts of Wyoming. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country with mandatory consumer protection, those protections remain in force and you may also bring a claim in your own country.
Earlier terms: 25 October 2026, 24 October 2026, 14 October 2026, 11 October 2026. Existing contracts retain their applicable version until a valid change takes effect.
